13/11/2008 12:28 am - A Cambodian Odyssey The hot, humid air hit us as we set foot on to Cambodian soil. We were confronted with the dusty and chaotic roads as we made our way to the OMF team centre. It was amusing to watch the interweaving traffic at intersections, paying no heed to the lights. Yet there seemed to be a method to the madness.

13/11/2008 12:23 am - Review: OMF National Conference, 29-31 Aug 08 Not long ago we saw the heroic efforts of thousands of athletes at the peak of their fitness, beamed into our living rooms. We marvelled at the human body and what it is able to do. Following on from the example of Liddell, the theme of this year’s conference was “Proclaiming His Glory to the Nations”, Isaiah 66:19.

12/09/2008 7:37 am - Significant in God’s global plan in your second half Our God loves to surprise and stretch His children. When it was mentioned to me after eight years of retirement from thirty years of full time teaching that I should consider going to the Philippines and doing a stint in an International school for the children of Missionaries, I gave an emphatic no. Now in August 2008 I have come back for a second year.

David & Ruth Gould, OMF International Building Consultant, will be visiting Sydney from 17-21 November. David oversees various building projects on the field in East Asia, including Bible Colleges, mission homes, outreach centers, camps and orphanages. He is looking for people with building skills and a heart for mission to join him as short-term or long-term workers. There are many opportunities for friendship evangelism by working alongside local builders. -
